do at home online computer jobs really work or are they a scam?

like data entry, cuz i saw an ad in the newspaper and i wanted to try it out but i wasnt sure if i would make any money off of it, if any body out there has tryed it, let me know how it went.

Yes but dont go out and look for one on the net…most of them are trash….instead try looking for local companies that need forms filled and such…like insurance companies, law offices, etc.
